Hello @Ranchibi

Surprised but so very pleased with how well this little inexpensive mix-match of parts and pieces has come together and made a neat Pistol. I get a big smile on my face every time I shoot it :D. I still do not have the trigger exactly the way I want it but that is my fault, I just need to take the time and take it all apart again.

Have a great weekend,
ThomasT

Good morning/afternoon. Shot just one card today in basement. 7 yards with my HW44 177cal.

Shot one card with my Bandit and P-Rod this afternoon. Long story short, I’m not a fan of red dots for precision target shooting … and … at 10M I can’t see the darn bullseyes. Even at 5M is still too hard for me to see them. I think I’m going scope shopping for the P -Rod.

I'm in agreement on the scope. Look into the Bug Buster 3-12 power. Focuses down to 3 yards, side focus. Only "negative" I see is it is only 3 clicks per MOA - pretty coarse adjustment. I compensate with hold over/under so no big deal for me. The HW44 targets I post here are with this scope. It's regularly on sale if you look around.

you could save paper by shooting all the 10 rings then shoot the numbers 9.8,7,6 . That would be 17 holes in each bull .

Tim, still nice cards considering the red dot! Check out the Discovery HD 2-12x24 FFP scope, focuses down to around 6yds and is 165 TYD from DiscoveryOpt.us FYI, tiny scope. Here is mine on my Notos....

Hello everyone,

Too many projects this morning so I figured I needed to shoot at least one warm up Red Dot target this morning. However I placed all 25 Wadcutter pellets in the 10-Ring so I will keep this target. Hopefully I can shoot more later today.

Range: 15 - Feet Indoors
Pistol: Diana Bandit .177 caliber modified w/Buck Rail AR Conversion & Grip
Scope: Hawkeye Red Dot
Pellets: H&N Sport 8.18gr Wadcutter
FPS: 475
FPE: 5.9
Position: Bench with Bipod and rear Bag

None today.

But tomorrow i will have to test my new " Compound " targets as i have already named them.

As my favorite shooting game have been annihilate the red base ( center dot on 2" / 5 cm target )
I have upgraded to a 120 cm target, but them having 5 slightly bigger " bases " to annihilate and so make up a imaginary compound to annihilate.

The center being the HQ and the surrounding 4 dots various bunkers / strong points.

First time i will settle for 55 M shooting, that is also the power level my Two are sort of dialed for atm shooting 10 grain stuff.

Only total annihilation is good enough, CUZ i am not sending my boys forward before artillery have done their part.

Thanks Randall. I'll check it out. I usually don't like FFP for target shooting because the reticle typically gets obnoxiously large. Does yours?

Tim, you're welcome! The best part about FFP scopes is the ability to change magnifications without changing POI and one can adjust the reticle to one's preferred size as well. I have mine set @ 6X. This reticle is nice. This scope punches well above it's asking price.
