FX New DRS PRO not impressed yet

Ok so got a new DRS pro and man the gun is amazing looking and the MDT chassis is very very nice and very adjustable which is so awesome. I have spent the last few days and probably 500 rounds trying to get the H&N .22 33gr precision slugs to shoot good and i cant. I have tried every speed from 980-1025 and just can’t seem to get them to shoot good with this gun. The spread at 100 meters is well over 2 MOA. I think i need to try other ammo. The gun is amazing now i just need to get it to shoot like it looks lol

I have a DRS Classic 22 700 it shoot the .218 H&N heavy slug 34 grain to 40 grain very accurately .
I have only recently purchased the .218 33 grain precision slugs but so far they shoot good too.

Have you tried cleaning the barrel. Use a real bore cleaner not Ballistol.

I have found using higher reg pressure 160 bar to 170 bar works best with the DRS .
The 34gr heavy shoot very accurately from 930fps to 1000fps

No haven’t cleaned it need to get a setup that will work the one I have is for a real riffle and it doesn’t fit
Patchworm works great.

Patchworm works great.
Agreed, the Patchworm bore cleaning kit is inexpensive, safe and very effective.

I have the DRS Classic in the 600mm length, it was $1000, It shoots great for that price. For $50 more, I could have gotten the 700mm version, which is essentially the same air rifle as the DRS Pro, just minus a $1800 stock! At the price I paid, I'm quite happy with the performance of mine, if I had paid the $2900 asking price of the Pro, I'm not so sure I would. I understand there are a few more upgraded components in the Pro, besides the stock, but that's till a lot more money, especially if the performance isn't much better than the Classic.

Can you share a picture of the slugs you make.
When I looked at Corbins website it looks like they make a similar hollow point as the H&N heavy slug
The slugs on the right are the 22 on the left are 25 cal I just started making for my Panthera. Woogie_man has the boattail punch for .218 so we will be making some of those. The boat tails shoot real god in the Panthera so anxious to try in the DRS.
