But still a better deal that what people are trying to sell used ones for!
All the Dreamlines I’ve bought from the classifieds have been sub $900 and in like new condition. Selling a discontinued gun for $1100 when they sold for $1300 new isn’t exactly a killer deal to me!

Yeah, but look at the barebones M3s that people post for $2k (same price as a new M4).

Dreamlines are discontinued. The m3 is discontinued. Seems to me it’s a Sal of new old stock. Still not worth the price imo.
Completely disagree. An M3 is nearly the same thing as an m4. The discontinuation of the m3 is meaningless. You can save like 600 dollars and have 90% the same gun. However, they have 3 impacts. One .25 600mm black ($1638) and 2 700mm bronze .30 snipers ($1690). Anyone looking for an impact I’d move now.

Tell me you feel the same when it comes to resale value. Like I said before, used ones go for substantially cheaper, and discontinued is discontinued. Whether it’s similar to a new offering or not.

I do t think you are going to find it much different. If you bought one of the m3 guns and you start with 600 bucks in your pocket the resale in the end is probably going to be a wash.

M3 is the same as m4? Lmao. I've seen a few m3 in like new conditions going for $1300 and 1350. Please show me a m4 at the price. Then I'll agree they are the same.

Sum up my point in a nutshell. FX didn’t make many changes to the m4. It isn’t that much different. Certainly not enough to justify 600 dollars over an m3. Thus making the m3 for a 600 dollar discount well worth it.
Just because people are willing to pay 600 more for a different trigger, top rail and cut out to get to the probe doesn’t make it largely different. Reality wins.

It works for me, on the sale guns.
I figured out the problem. It does work on everything except the 700mm m3 .30 cal. BC is offering a special extra magazine for free with the gun as a promotion. Therefore the welcome10 promotion cannot be used in conjunction with the free mag promotion. Does work on other guns.

One can argue the m3 and m4 is not much different from the mk2 too. I've seen mk2 going for $1000 shipped here. So no shipping and tax. Meaning you saving over $1300 vs buying a m3/m4. They are all basically the same gun. Only different is quick tune but who keep turning their gun every time. The mk2 can still be turn with the Allen key and leave it then use power wheel.

Yes but find me a NIB mk2 anywhere….
This is dumb actually. The main point is in my opinion an m3 when you reach the level of a 500-600 dollar savings is worth it. To each their own. I will say though this is a great example of why we as consumers pay 100’s of dollars for a few upgrades and a new name or generation. It’s kind of funny and happens in every single hobby.
