Gamo De tuning Gas spring Breakbarrel.

Do you mean the piston seal, so it doesn't reach as far to the end of the cylinder, so as to have less of a "compression ratio"? If so, I think ihe piston would want to bottom out no matter what. Or do you mean to modify the actual gas ram itself?
Either might work?

Probably simpler to just put a metal spring in it.

The Bone Breaker is a bit overpowered I take it?

Did you try a limbsaver butt pad? It sure helps control the jump. If you can ride those wild ponys I bet it shoots good.

The gas ram Cometa was hard to handle from a rest. You could tell it was the jump killing the precision. I wrestled with flyers until my shoulder was sore. Slapped a thick pad on it and the darn thing drives tacks. Firm pressure from your offhand straight into your shoulder and the rubber dances with the recoil like a tic tok twerker.

$20 at Wal Mart. I've got one on every air rifle I shoot from a rest. For me it's been a big help when shooting a hard kicking rifle at paper. It might be worth a try.

It will not make the trigger considerablly better, but will be more solid.
The factory is all plastic, with pins molded in, also plastic.
This pops up. But I can’t get it to download.
I click it. But nothing happens 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you for that. I’ll give it a go.

I don't shoot off a bag much. But a layer of silicone padding (seat cushions, knee/elbow pads) under the forearm really help with hard kicking guns.

The Hatsans jump and twist and the "artillery hold" just does not work. You have to hold them firmly or they'll jump off the bench before the pellet gets out the barrel. They pretty much suck off a bag.

A thick pad at the butt and something jiggly under the forearm really brings the shots closer. You can control the gun with a little weight/rearward pressure on your offhand and when the bear trap in a pipe goes off the crosshairs just wiggle a little on the target.

It may not make a powerful rifle shoot one hole groups. But in my experience it helps on every air rifle I've ever shot from a bag rest. The wilder and more powerful the rifle the more it seems to help.

lol. Just noticed the Bone Breaker comment. It’s actually a much smoother shot cycle than the Gamo GR .25
For whatever reason, I’m pretty good with shooting the .25 Don’t feel the need to change anything on it.
The Bone Breaker has a different recoil with the gas spring vs the metal spring of the GR.
It’s probably more me learning to shoot the gun than the gun kicking too hard.
Mainly checking my options if I decide it needs tuned down a bit.

Thanks for your input
