Daystate Daystate Alpha Wolf .177 HP - Slug Edition - Cans at 150 M / 164 Y

I bet, but that's a pretty conservative tune correct?

I will be increasing the size of the transfer port a bit, making my Alpha Wolf into a performance model (y) :) That should bring down the regulator pressure even more and still be pushing these slugs at 1005 FPS 🙃 :) I already added a pin probe to this setup and that gave me a 40-50 FPS increase in my existing setups (y)

That reg is set really high for using a barrel that long. I can see why you'd want to port it.

Usually the regulator is set around 170 bar in the .177 with the 23” barrel, so 150 bar is already moving in the right direction 👍🙂
I hear ya, it just sounds like a lot conpared to other guns I've shot. This definitely changes my perspective. I thought the alpha wolf was able to make close to 40fpe without the reg being so high. Unless I'm thinking about the red wolf? Either way, I feel like I was lucky at one point being able to shoot 16gr slugs at 990fps with the reg at 142b.

Definitely the right direction for ya! 170b for 13gr pills is excessive

I just bought this rifle with the 23” barrel. I noticed on the daystate web site it shows the 28” for slugs. Does that mean the 23” is for pellets only?

I have shot the .177 with the 23" barrel for more than 3 years now and it does shoot slugs very well, but at around 920-930 FPS for the JSB KO 13.43 gr (y)
