Airforce .177

If you have it use it, otherwise lots of other low cost options to try FT with can be had. Marauder, Avenger and Avenge-X and more in that $500 or so price point new.
I may have a wolverine for sale soon lol.
I don’t have one, I was curious if anyone had tried one out… The only pcp I currently have is a .22/700 Panthera. I have 4 springers and plan on shooting the Fairfield fun match in December if you all have it.

Yes, I have tried to set one up. The hold sensitiviy makes it impossible to shoot well, and this coming from someone who usually shoots springers. If you dial down the power and use a smaller transfer port, it will get over 90 shots withing a 20 fps spread from a 2400 psi fill. That sounds promising. The problem is the zero wanders through that string. You may get good 3 shot groups from a bench. But shoot one 50 shot group from a field position, and it will tell a different story. I put a mad dog stock on it, experimented with floating the tank vs attaching it to the stock....it was just an excercise in frustration.

There are a lot of cheaper options that will work better out of the box.

Huben reg will get you a more consistent spread and there is a trigger upgrade that will make it much better as well. With those, you can be more competitive. They are very light, and sling 13g pellets very well also. Anything is useable, i shot a 50yd benchrest comp with the NP03 we both had a while back and was in top 10 out of 40 .22lr PBs.
