Airgun Technologies Looking for a compatible regulator for Aselkon Ravello RX5 ( 52 joules)

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a regulator compatible with the PCP rifle Aselkon Ravello RX5, capable of maintaining a power output of 52 joules without limitation.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer a specific regulator online, and other manufacturers like Altaros have confirmed that they do not produce regulators for this model.

If you have any recommendations, ideas for compatible regulators, or reliable websites where I could make a purchase, I would greatly appreciate your help. Any advice is welcome!

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Best regards,
Salim

Man,..... wes at air gun archery fun use to sell and service them . Can't hurt to email him to see if he's got any leftover parts boxed up dust collecting. He has seals and poppets / valves , ect right down yo his last closeout gun .. so ???
Thank you for your response and suggestion!

I appreciate the tip about Wes at Air Gun Archery Fun. I’ll definitely try reaching out to him to see if he has any leftover parts or accessories for the RX5. Your advice is very helpful, and I’m grateful for your time and input!

Best regards,
Salim

Actually, I noticed the absence of the Ravello RX5 model in the lineup on this Polish website. I sent them a message to ask if the regulator they are selling is compatible with the Ravello RX5 (airtube).

Thank you so much!
??? . That one says fits all ( I assume tube or bottle?).

Ijdk. Tough nut to crack I guess ..

Hope ya the best of luck .

Be warn that when you install a regulator on a non regulated rifle, power can decrease about 10-20%. Irrespective of the setting of the regulator and of the spring of the hammer.

My Aselkon Ravello RX5 comes with a regulator by default, but unfortunately, I cannot find the same specific regulator for the RX5 available for purchase online. Even Aselkon does not sell spare parts directly online, and there is no Aselkon importer in Morocco.

Thank you for the information and advice. It’s a challenging situation, but I appreciate your input!

Messure the diameter end length of your original regulator. Then write to huma-air asking which of their regulators is closer to such dimensions.

If there's no one, exactly the same size buy the thicker closer and take it to machine it.

Well it's not like the better known or name brands sell parts easy either..🤤

I guess there a reason you can't rebuild the one you got ?;

Hey Salim.
Let´s turn the tables a bit, what seems to be the problem with your current regulator?

I´m more than familiar with the Aselkon units and am here to tell that the wise men of Aselkon arrived on that a suitable material for the seal of the reg is... rubber.
Morons. Anyone with witz of more than a plumb bob realize that´ll wear out so fast it´ll make your head spin.

Got a MX-9 and MX-10 both and sorry to say they´re build of exeptional low quality. Not really inherently bad for the designs per se but.. how it´s all made and put together tho is nothing short of travesty.

Here the reg for the tube guns. Bottle gun regs are similar. To the novice it might take a little getting used to, but they actually work decent as you toss a fresh seal at them - in this case out of POM plastic.
Btw.
To get it out of the tube i use a breech piece for an FX gun as it´s threaded M13*1. Works great.

Btw Salim.

While you´re in there it might be a good idea to replace the plastic material used for seal on the actual valve too. What Aselkon were thinking, no idea but.. it wears so fast it´s to laugh at.
I have since turned what i need myself, and modified the poppet to run on a 2mm shank for less closing forces acting on it, out of PEEK. Way harder and will most likely take a little honing to get just right but.. that stuff will outlast the original joke it isn´t even funny.

Both my Aselkons (what´s left of them at least) run around the 135J mark at will in 22cal.

@ s.rami I had an Aselkon Ravello Rx6. i tried to order a new regulator from Airfire Tactical and wasn’t able to make the purchase. I don’t think they had any. Bagnall and Kirkwood out of uk used to carry o rings but they lost the supplier last I had checked. After months of frustration looking for support , I finally gave up and sold it.I hope you have better luck.

Thank you for the suggestion, but such an approach feels like a large industrial project given the limited local means and expertise available here. In the worst case, a local gunsmith could import the original regulator from Aselkon, just as they imported the rifle. However, this process might take 6 to 8 months.

Thanks again for your advice!
