Beeman Beeman HW30 Value

I have a Beeman HW30, 20 caliber that I purchased new in 1993. I am considering selling it and buying a more powerful springer air rifle, but I am having difficulty finding the value of this rifle. It appears to be different than a model HW30S which has an adjustable trigger and other different features. The original iron sights have been removed and a Beeman scope added. Can someone give me a fair selling price to set on this rifle? Beeman Air Rifle.JPG

Hey ,how are you, what’s your name. Your new here.. wow ,you got something you want to sell. There are rules here to keep this forums safe From potential threats of fraud.
There’s a place called E bay for auctions.
maybe we would like to know more about you before we give out opinions on a potential sale.
I think you misinterpreted by post . I was not advertising the gun for sale, I just wanted to know the value. I,m a little discouraged at this response to my first post on this forum.

The rocking type safety is typical of the "Marksman" branded guns that Weihrauch made after they bought out the old BSF factory in the late 1980's. I don't recall ever seeing one on a Weihrauch-marked gun, it may be a rather rare variant. In Europe it would have simply been called an "HW 30," in those days the "S" indicated the Rekord trigger; so if it's stamped with an "S" that's another unusual detail.

On most HW's the Perfekt trigger can be exchanged for the adjustable Rekord, but I don't know how the oddball safety might play into that.

Welcome to the forum! And all due respect to both you and AGR, you did clearly state you were "considering selling" the rifle in your first post. Without a Rekord trigger, I'd ask well below $300 for it.

The HW30 is a nice airgun if a little light in power. I waited way too long to get mine.

Just a thought... for the amount of money that you might get in selling your HW30, I'd suggest keeping it to avoid sellers remorse. There are many fine, more powerful airguns available but you will likely find that you will miss the light cocking, sweet shooting HW30.

Your HW30 is paid for. If you don't dislike it for some reason or don't need the money for the new airgun, I'd say you should keep it because once it's gone, it's gone.

Just some advice from someone who wished he hadn't sold a gun that he shouldn't have. ☹️

Cheers!
