Air Arms TX200 - No Further Input Needed

Once we shot FT at Bay Point in the rain (not where we do now, undercover).
TX#1 was soaked.
At home it was completely dismantled and the steel parts left submerged in a tub of WD-40.
I have done this many times with my powder burners and the M-16 when in Vietnam.
Afterwards, the WD-40 was removed, all of the parts cleaned and properly oiled.
Beautiful.
WD stands for water dispersal ..
The stock was left to dry on it’s own and more coats of BLO applied..
We use to take our M16s in the shower, strip, dry in the sun, and oil. Never any rust

Does anybody else think it's amazing to abuse a TX200 like that. I've only seen one and it's the most beautifully made AG still available new? Anecdote: Henry Ford II used to hunt ducks with a Purdey shotgun, left it in the water in the bottom of the duck boat!
That's because he never had to work for anything. Born into money.
