Other Reximex RPA Pistol Review (This PCP Pistol Shoots like a $1500 Gun!) Video Review

Well, after several delays PA being on back order I finally got it. It was scheduled for Thursday, but for some reason it required my signature and UPS came too early than normal. I tried to pick it up at their DC, but it was shipped to a UPS store, WT#! Picked up today and I'm not happy with the fit and finish, the wood trigger guard is warped and no air on the tank, just hope it's not a leak. Have to wait till Monday to speak with a customer rep from PA.

Well 10 days later and PA did me right. Got my replacement grip, I opted for the plastic stock and it fits a lot better.

Nice group of pistols there Gnob
Mine is on the way back to PA for a replacement or to be fixed, Big hint if you get your gun in and its empty (of air) You probably got a leak,
I like the gun enough to try one more time for a good one, View attachment 512442
Mine is holding air good since last night. Did some trigger work today to lighten it, lighter trigger shoe return spring and lighter secondary sear spring also. Now down to 1# 3oz. Strill have lots of creep, only way to minimize this is to grind secondary sear so it drops quick. Not ready for this as I want to be able to return it to stock just incase I have to return gun.

Now this is a test of the national broad ,, NO NO just kidding , But this is a test to see how fast Pyramyd air does on there returns.
Got the box off UPS ground labeled with a free Pyramyd label,, The people I dealt with were very nice and helpful.. Any way Box off
11-12-24 at 2PM Texas time, I will post when the new gets here,,, A TEST,,,,

I've got a few questions about it..
1 how is the grip attached? a screw up through from the bottom?
2 does anyone make after market grips that are not angled back so far and not so huge?
on the pretty blue one, how do they get the coloring, the reason I as is I was imagining if nothing else is available to reshape the grips with bird's head like a Ruger Wrangler bird's head.. but would you loose the color and finish or could it be reshaped and then a coat of polyurethane or something?
currently pyramid only has the color laminated ones,as plain wood wood be easy to reshape and finish,I just don't know much about the laminated color ones but I assume they are stronger being laminated.
also I read that they are 13" overall.. so if it could have a straighter grip or birds head it would be more compact..
just looking at guns that might be what I consider holster friendly 12"or less.. PCP.. shot a friend's GK1 and it's awesome.. although the cost is way out of my budget unless I can find a used one.

Mark, its held with 2 screws. One for the half trigger guard and one similar to an AR grip retainer. The action is thick, so the AR style won't work without mods and have to fab some lower trigger guard. Also the action is lower the the barrel shroud requiring an adjustable scope mounts if mounting with 2 individual rings. If I like this gun, I will fab a half trigger guard and mill the action to use an AR style grips in the future. As far as I know there is no aftermarket grips here in the U.S. It is the same as the EU Mito, but also haven't found grips for it.

Got my 22 caliber Rex back from PA Monday, The trigger is a little longer and harder on this one than the 1st one, I really like this gun it just feels right and is pretty accurate , As accurate as my GKl ones at 30 yards , I put a swampfox red dot, well its a green dot but just the same, This gun is a keeper I think Reximex hit the nail with this pistol,, The only negative thing that I can think of is the magazine is a pain loading back in the gun, And the trigger is not adjustable that I know of, I check in on the springs people are putting in on the trigger, there cheap but shipping is three times there price , Maybe after market magazines (carm) and a little trigger work this pistol will be perfect, Pretty cheap to, saying the price is not bad ,

You can put a lighter trigger return spring, good for 1/2# reduction. The most reduction I got was putting new lighter secondary sear spring. I'll take some pics when I get to mod the secondary sear block as this is the only way I see to reduce the creep.

I'd only be interested in open sights on one.. let me know how it goes with yours and if it seems possible to be 12" or less without the huge angled grip.

Took the stock off for preliminary look. I think it would be easier to make a new upright wood grip rather than making an adapter for AR style grip. With an adapter, the trigger will be out of position (too high). It's right at 12 inches OAL.

I don't think you can adjust elevation on these. Lots of shoots low posts and can't adjust sights .. what a shame

Sights today are nothing but a afterthought if even thought of ..lol.

Incomplete guns . It's like the people who make the guns never used a gun..lol

The front sight adjust for elevation, the rear for windage. But yes it's only useful in pistol conf. As a carbine it's too low, you'll have to scope it or a red dot.

Huma air has the RP for $373 right now.. a good bit lower than PA.

Hello @Rvaughn

Be very careful buying from Huma Air. They sold me a defective Rex and it took almost 3 months of dealing with them to accept a return. Then they charged me almost $90.00 for the return shipping.

Show that please . Apparently no one can or they would not be beachoiting about it ..lol

Or like this one ?

If they'd just instrument that on the rear you'd have something ..

Just dt shows these manufacturers or designers never use the product or probably a gun and got no clue ..lol

I have pistol with front adjustable sight and also has rear adjustable ( 1 click is 1/10mm at 10m . ).

Then folks pay 1000's for guns with no way to aim them at all 🥴.

This gun is no way worth 1000, even half that is a stretch. My home made 1701 based pistol easily out shot this. But then some people have much lower standard than me I guess.

Is there a better way to get the trigger springs than Ebay, Someone said something about a pen spring, Just took a pen apart and spring is 4.2 mm dia, and its plenty long, to make 8mm length, May need another spring for the 15mm spring , anyone else try this ,, I am pretty all thumbs working on guns , but it seems simple,,,
