Nice shooting!!!! Whats distance is that group at?? 1000fps thru the RAW is hootin!!!!
Just some quick 50y groups.

I tuned this HM1000x for maximum velocity and harmony. Which put my reg at 160b and the hammer balanced to match.

My goal was to shoot the 30g about 1000fps but it maxed out at 970 and they weren’t as accurate.

I tried to reduce the hammer a bit for the 27g, but it was balanced with the reg and actually made accuracy worse. I’ll need to reduce the reg pressure a little if I want to back off the hammer a little to bring the 27g down to about 1000fps.

Or maybe I’ll just it where it is!

Try a little heavier slug Michael. I am shooting my 36gr slugs at 900 fps and am getting a little ragged hole at 50 yards, at a 100 yards a 1 inch plate is to easy to hit.

Mine are also in the 218 diameter but with pure lead. I found that the NSA slugs were to hard. Though the 218 H&N slugs in 30 grain shot really good as well.

I tried everything from 27g to 34g (.217 & .218) including the new 33g precision slugs. I’m sticking with these for a while. But thanks!
