FX Fx2000 fill issue

I am trying to fill an FX2000/tarantula. I have a scuba tank and it's flat empty on the gun side.

I have tried cocking , the quick blast of air and it's still just rushing out the barrel.

What else can I try?
-Put a pellet to block the transfer port?
-Block the end of the barrel with a plug ?
-lightly tap the action to get the valve to close ?

Also try adding a few drops of pure silicone oil into the guns fill port, it may help, may not but worth a try!

Cant recall specifics, but I had the same issue years ago on a Timberwolf (two shot shuttle version of what you have) and I ended up needing a new valve stem/seal. I did a complete reseal while I was at it and it's now held up fine for several years now. Cant be of more help. I tried the couple drops in the fill port, but I'm thinking the issue is at the valve seal and would take a bit to blow that oil all the way down the tube to reach it. In my case (if I'm remembering right) the seal on the stem was cracked so no amount of silicon was going to fix that.

I use one I found on amazon, it is for treadmills...

. But, any pure silicone oil will suffice.
