Other Webley Tempest

I've had some success with giving rougher paint finishes a go over with Car body cutters like T cut.
If that fails, after the light rub down and degrease, you can respray using Krylon satin black weapons paint.
A new forend shroud is easy to get hold of, even the earlier Webley and more desirable Beeman version which is the least garish are held at Knibbs Country store Uk and Proteks Uk has later Spanish versions.
Source some wood grips maybe.
First clean the barrel and degrease the cylinder.

I purchased one in 22 cal and thought it pretty weak so bought a 177 barrel which helped with velocity. I too haven't shot mine in years. I need the plastic foregrip for mine. I haven't really looked for parts but imagine they are scarce. I never was impressed with the Tempest. I expected a bit more power, wanting to use it for a tackle box gun but my expectations was too high for this model I believe.
