Epic Air guns shop emailed an announcement saying they had a Black Friday Special going until 11:59 on 11/29. I picked a rifle and put it in the basket but didn't immediately buy as I was still not sure about the barrel I really wanted and was doing last second research.
When I made up my mind, came back a couple of hours later at 8pm EST the price had gone up more then 310 bucks! the gun was still in the basket at the original discounted price and I thought Whew...but when I hit purchase...up the price jumped, at over 310.00...............delete sale
What kind of crap is this??? The sale was supposed to go 11:59 pm
Well, EPIC, you just lost a customer for good . Turning my attention to SKOUT and RTI

RTI guns are great. RTI qc is spotty. Be patient if you go that way, but now, my P2 is a favorite. There are lots of diy tuning and repair videos for RTI, use them if needed. Rok's customer service is fantastic. Tom at AAA will, occasionally, sell a near perfect airgun. I own one.

If I need a hi power gun less than a centerfire, I reach fir the RTI. If I want a very low risk, low weight gun, I reach for the EVOL mini 22.

Don't get mad at Epic Airguns. It's not really their shop. The Epic Airguns Shop is really the Wolfiek Group in Spain and other than selling theirs and other airguns they aren't related. They have an Evanix, Huben and a few other shops as well.

Keep your money in the USA, You can deal with the dealers and send guns back. Try that with dealing in a shop from spain or china,
I bought a RTI from there shop or maybe from Wolfiek , I was told the big price increase from the Prophet #1 to the Prophet #2 was the barrel,,
I was sent a Prophet #2 with a regular LW barrel,, Not the RPB special barrel ,, I was pissed , Noting I could do, Learned a 2000 dollar lesion,,

What kind of numbers were you gettin?

This is the Highest priced epic at Huma. If you're willing to pay shipping from Spain, Huma probably beats them. I usually receive from HUMA in the Netherlands within 4 days.

Skout's 10% off sale will last until January 6th, so you have plenty of time to decide which color you want on the Evo 😜
If for BR, i would recommend the new .30 cal ECR barrel or the LW bull barrel.
i have heard too many conflicting reports on the SubMoa barrel...I will be doing a test on it later this month for comparison
Digital manometers can help you lock in the tuning for the rifle .. makes it easier, but not nescessary
The Skout team is one of the best for support. They will help you til the problem is solved. Even the owners will get involved
I think you will like Skout, Great company with super friendly people

10% works for me so long as there's no last second price increase ;) I mean I'd pay full price for what I want but why not save a buck if you can?Thinking I'll go .25 with the 34.5" barrel. I'd like to try my hand at BR but that's a younger man's game IMO. Plus no local competitions that I have heard of to cut one's teeth on in my neck of the woods. Wish there were.... I'm not great but I'm not bad either.

Don't you think if you get a notice that says sale ends at 11:59 pm that you should take it as local time? They are 6 hours ahead in Spain and they would have said, sale ends at 23:59hr had they meant local. Anyway, ancient history; I've moved on to my other choice.

Does everything have to be spoonfed? I rarely see US retailers taking timezones into consideration for countries abroad. The way I see it, you made a mistake and are shifting the blame. Not only that, but you're blaming the wrong party. The shop in spain is just a retailer. If you looked into it properly before posting an an angry thread about it, you would've known that.
