Crosman Evolving backwards PcP -> Multi pump

Yes, have sold most of the PCPs. Still have my HW97. Bought an anniversary 362 last year, and a 2240 recently. Both make nice plinkers. Maybe I shouldnt have sold my 1377 a few years back. It had wood stocks, flat top piston/valve, and 14 inch barrel. There has been a similar one on the classifieds for awhile...
We're on the same page. Kept my HWs. But I miss a simpler 1377. Currently scouring the marketplace to find that one you're talking about

Just taking it back to simple feels good. I def kept my Springers after going to PCP but totally abandoned the OG pumpers.
Still have a couple of pumpers here.

Since this is a pistol page I'll stick with them.
My favorite is the HW75 single stroke pneumatic. I have achieved 1moa accuracy with it shooting .25 cal plastic BB's with it at 25 yards, but that is pretty much all that it's for at only 400 fps with a .7 gr pellet.

In the same league are the HW40 or Beeman P17. or the Daisy 777, 747, series, from back in the eighties.
These are SSP pistols. One stroke of air.

A realy nice MSP I found is the Crossman H9A .22 cal. It is useless with its on board sights, but really accurate with an optic or dot, plus has some power to shoot with the small rifle targets, like Crazy Eights etc.

These are only available on the used market now, and I can't speak for the current offering?

I have a video of this H9A in action at 30 yards if you would be interested.

I have CO2's and springers that I have shot a lot of ammo through aswell.
Pistols are just fun, as long as they are accurate.

Yes, sir. My Sheridan at four strokes is only a tad bit more powerful than a .20 cal HW30 with one stroke, and the .20 cal 97K with one stroke is equal to my Sheridan at eight strokes
Different tools for different jobs.

Bet I have a dozen hammers. No two the same. All have something it does better or easier than the others.

Has anyone else gone through this ?

Grew up with springers and multi pumps, got deep into PCP, now I want a sweet 177 backpacker multi pump.

Any advice or ideas ?

Thank you
try for a old Sheridan or Benjamin / Sheridan . the Benjamin Sheridan's come in .22 these are just better made guns . Now a new 362 is also a good gun i have heard good reviews on the 100 year edition Crossman

Thank you all for the input ! I do have some SSP like the beeman p1 but something more attractive about multi pump and selecting the power through that.

I'll have to take a look at that! I definitely like the idea
