I don't have the HMRx2-12x42 but i do have

Athlon Optics Argos BTR GEN2 8-34X56 First Focal Plane and Talos BTR 4-14x44 I love both of them. Athlon scopes have a lifetime warranty.​

Looks like Cameraland has a good price on this scope!

I have one on a new TX200. I have not used it long enough to give you a read on durability and this TX200 is about the most docile springer I have ever owned. The glass seems good for the pricepoint and the eyebox is user friendly....sorry, I just do not like to give recommendations without more wear and tear. so far so good

I have the Argos 10-40 target scope. Glass is very good for the price, I think. Parallax adjust to 10 yards like it's rated to. I think it's a good buy.

I have a Athlon Optics Argos HMR 4-20x50mm with mil dot reticle . Love it. Clear and it sits in top my Wildcat mk3. Crystal clear at 20x and have had zero issues.

I just bought the Argos second focal plane 4-20X 50mm with a .7 dot/illuminated in a plex. Focuses under 30 feet, and it seems pretty clear. Looks like erectors in the turrets are brass.
The tube is only 5 inches for mounting, and the weight is 22 ounces.
Seems like a good buy at 330 bucks, and I am an optics snob.
It mounts easy for offhand shooting on a HW100 with medium Sportsmatch rings. Not much adjustment needed to get it zeroed in. I generally shoot at 20X with Leupold EFRs, and this looks good to me at 20X.
I'll ring this out for a month or so, and probably get another one or two.

I believe that's what came with my Atomic. It's a good scope. I'm planning on using it this season for pistol FT. We'll see how it ranges.

BTW four different Argos BTR G3's are coming out this spring.

Yep, I had to order another one (4-20X HMR). I really like the reticle.
