BRK Sniper XR Magnum .22cal 18gr JSB

I feel like the AA/JSB 18gr pellets are some of the best as far as how universal they are. There also don't seem to be a lot of complaints about thier QC (although I fell like AA produces better pellets than JSB). These pellets can shoot well over a huge range of speeds, but I would try to aim for between 850fps - 925fps. Since the magnum has a poly barrel, you may even be able to go closer to 975fps. You'll just have to give it a shot!

Thanks. I'm also hoping they shoot well at the low power setting for backyard use.
I shoot the .177cal version of this pellet as low as 650fps and it is incredibly accurate. I have no reason to believe the .22cal version of this pellet can't do the same! However, I'm shooting them out of a 12-groove rifled barrel, and not a poly barrel, so it may be different - poly's do tend to like faster speeds.

Exactly like Gear_ Junkie said above, those 18gr are the most versatile pellet from slow sppeds to over 1000fps with great accuracy. I have them shooting @ 970fps from my RAW's LW non choked poly barrel, they are accurate at short and long distances, have taken ground squirrels out to over 100yds in very light to no wind conditions with these.
