"Immersive" Prism Scopes

I never thought about it but I like that sunshade tube. Looks pretty long, any restrictions on width - FOV?

I've not noticed anything outside just perhaps a tad dimmer in brightness.
Being these wide FOV optics are SOOOOO bright to begin with see it as a non issue.
The lack of sun flair on objective glass when facing or angled to the sun is well worth the use ... IMO

They work well for certain applications. In my case, the wide field of view lends to quick acquisition at 40 yards and under. Although it does take some getting used to getting intimate with the ocular lens.
