Skout Airguns Epoch Compact

SKOUT AIRGUNS® is proud to introduce the brand new COMPACT version of the newly updated EPOCH platform.

An extensively milled upper chassis, shorter 17” barrel system, and light weight optics rail allow the COMPACT to shed weight without compromising accuracy. A simplified air valve system, and 300ci compact tank round out the COMPACT’s base 8lb build. This is the airgun you can take anywhere.

I like how you streamlined the bottom by replacing the regulator caps with the caps from the Evo.
Some liked to have the knurled caps, but to be honest, i always used the hex key for adjustments.
Seems better for hand placement too.
Do the come with the LW barrel, or is that an option?
Mike

When will this be available on the website?

I was curious myself and called Skout.

Within 10 minutes, Bill Gardner, the president of Skout and his assistant called me.

The official launch is after the SHOT show and they are working on getting it on their website asap. They are currently taking pre-orders with deliveries starting February 1st if I heard him correctly. Bill rattled off the stats on the various calibers and I unfortunately did not have time to write them down, but the foot-pound figures in .22 and .25 were impressive and will work quite well for my hunting requirements. Bill also mentioned that with the .22 LW barrel, it shoots extremely well with both pellets and slugs.

Full video by Airgun Channel on YouTube should be released in a few days.

It will depend on caliber, but in .22 it comes with a LW barrel without up charge. Same awesome LW we are using in 25”, but these ones are 17”.

Pre-orders will be on the website soon. We will begin shipping the first week on February! In the meantime feel free to call us or email [email protected] to place a pre-order!
Will there be a good .177 barrel option? This could be a very good FT gun.
