Agreed... I would choose this deal over the other one.

even though this has been priced out all custom guns are worth the sum of their parts minus some
if the builder believes his work added value he is mistaken, in my opinion that was paid by the enjoyment he got doing it
now my feeling on the 2240 platform it is a dying platform 15-20 years ago we had so many to buy part from now just a handful and now with the gun being made in China, at least that is what i understand, how long will it last as a build off platform and in reality you do not need a pistol to start
now on HPA 2240 back in the day when there were none to few HPA pistols the 2240 was a good choice to convert today the only reason i see can i do it
the Crosman is a crudely made pistol compared to the Snowpeak offerings
is it wise to waste money in the hobby just to tinker, hell i have done it too many times to count, but was it money spent wisely

just some opinion from an old man that has been there done that
