Bog deathgrip ballhead conversion

I'm wanting to make my tripod a little better and user friendly. Currently looking at a couple conversions on the market. Zero Fox Given and Little Crow Gunworks. Curious if anyone has used either or a different brand and how they liked it. I have access to a metal lathe at work and am considering making my own, but sometimes it's quicker and easier to just purchase something pre-made. I've definitely got enough projects that need my attention and time already! Any advice is welcomed.

I recently got a good deal on a brand-new Bog Death grip tripod, and I did the ball head conversion to it...it can be used with just the factory clamp but it's a real pain to use as you have to constantly re-adjust the legs to try and level the gun........ with the ball head it makes it very easy to use. I removed the factory clamp, and I machined an adaptor to fit in place of it and used a 3/8 x 16 bolt to attach the ball head. The ball head uses a Arca plate for attachment, I also machined an adaptor plate for the clamp so I could install an Arca plate to it and still use the clamp on my rifles that don't have an Arca plate. After machining the adaptors, I also powder coated them......I really like the Death grip tripod now, I have taken several deer and a lot of small game using it....Here's a couple pics of what I did to it.....

If you have access to a lathe, you should just make your own. They’re really very simple even without a lathe. Do a YouTube search if you haven’t already as there is even one video where a guy uses some spent 9mm and 5.56 brass to fill the void between the tripod housing and the bolt he used to secure his ball head of choice. If I was using a Bog tripod I’d probably turn an adapter on my lathe, but the spent brass idea seemed like a very cool idea.
