I am new to the PCP world and received a Hatsan Jet 1 for Christmas and recently bought a Spritech compressor off Amazon. Over the weekend I attempted to charge the Hatsan and my first roadblock was that the quick connector would not operate properly and then I read somewhere that some fittings require the O-rings inside have to be removed. I removed both of them and the fitting worked properly. I fired up the Spritech and made sure the bleeder valve was closed following along all the instructions in the manual and after approx. 15-20 minutes neither the needle on the compressor or the Hatsan had moved ? Am I being impatient or ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated !

Get a bottle of windex or soapy water and spray every connection, it sounds like you have a leak.

I’m guessing you have a leak at your fitting if you removed the orings. I don’t know where you read to remove those, but I have never heard that and it would obviously cause it to leak I think.
