I HAVE REVISED THIS POST, SINCE A MODERATOR SEEMS TO THINK I WAS TRYING TO SELL ON HERE, AND I ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT. SOOO, ANYWAYS....
Well, I have managed to find myself with an acute first world problem - I have managed to acquire 3 TX200's in about a 2 month time period and now going "what do I do with them?"
1st acquisition: Very , very early MK III full length action .177, but in the prior MK1 / MK2 blocky checkered stock. Very well figured dark walnut stock, which was the initial draw factor for purchase. Bought late last year, but when it arrived, found some rust inside the receiver and some in other places, along with some pitting on the receiver / barrel. It's currently sitting in pieces, as I was going to get it cerakoted. Also ordered a Vortek 12 ft. lb spring kit to install after I get it cerakoted.
2nd acquisition: Shortly after, found a local guy with a BNIB full length TX200 .177 MK III (with another nice walnut stock) that he won at a match, but he doesn't shoot springers. Picked this up for a very good price. I've pulled it out of the box and that's about it.
3rd acquisition: Found another local guy, but with a TX200HC that had the Tony Leach short stroke kit installed by Nitrocrushr on here. Such a smooth shooter with this kit. Not quite PCP level, but smoother and less recoil than my Vortek R7.
So, the TX200HC with the short stroke kit is not going anywhere. But would the other 2 full length guns offer me anything that the HC doesn't that I'm not aware of? What would you do in this situation?
Just seeing what the collaborative hive mind thoughts are.
