A Gamo!! Oh heavens find the tar and feathers. Chuckle!!
It takes a bit of practice to learn to shoot a Magnum such as the Gamo. It also helps to install a longer trigger screw (I forget the size , but you can buy a whole sack of them at Fastenal for 20 bucks) anyway this allows you to set the sear for a very light release, just make sure you do not set it too light or it will go off if you bump the gun, I beat on the stock with a rubber mallet, then go 1/4 turn heavier once it stays put. Adjusting the trigger will drastically improve accuracy.
What distance?? What pellets? Some unknowns are important.
My Gen Two Magnum will shoot 1/4 inch groups at 30 yards and 5/8 to 3/4 at 50. Although most guns pick different pellets, Gamo Magnums it is a good bet yours will like the No Lead Barracuda Green. Most of them do. They are a very expensive pellet , however Gamo rifles tend to like them.
Once in awhile you do get a Gamo that is worthless and will not shoot accurately in spite of all you do, this does happen, if so you can call them and more than likely they will trade you a brand new one. I have had several over the years that were worthless, however not lately, in the last couple years Gamo has stepped up their game. The 3 Gen 3's that I have now are the best break barrels I have ever owned, and they are light and easy to carry around. The Bone Collector will run neck and neck with my 95 , plus it has a repeater magazine and is light.
Cheers
