Ive upgraded my .177 600mm drs classic and put on the shp plenum, .25 liner, Inlet and probe.
The hammer weight the classic came with (10g) did not manage to open the valve past 120bar. So I bought a tungsten hammer so I could push some 26gr slugs atleast 950+ with 130bar. Its super loud (with a mod) and I can see airsmoke coming out the barrel after a shot.
Is there some other parts that the pro has so I can get the speeds and shot count listed on fx website? I now the pro is 700, and I wait for the carbon tube to come soon.
As it is now I have no chance to push 33gr slugs at 950+

The DRS Pro also has the pin probe.

I have a 22 700 Classic also, I gained more speed by adding the pin probe than the tungsten hammer weight.

Love my .22/600mm DRS Classic just as is! JSB 18.13 and factory tune is perfect at 31 fpe.

Bought it as a light weight squirrel stalking rifle and it's proved itself to be excellent for that job! Head shots at 40 yards are no problem. 😊

Nice that the DRS platform can be changed to suit different applications. I think that the DRS is designed as a .22 caliber pellet rifle. That it can go from .177 to .25 says alot for it. That, with a couple of tweaks, can shoot slugs is a bonus.

Enjoy your "new" rifle!

Cheers!

I believe the DRS Pro has the larger 8mm valve whereas yours probably came with the smaller 6.5mm valve. I believe you can upgrade to the larger valve if you haven’t already done so.
I have read about it and most people said that it would not affect fps, but its not an expensive part so dosnt Hurt to try. I also dont have the pin probe, just huma pellet probe

To think I could’ve had this rifle for about the same price as my Daystate Revere.
When I first googled pcp I got to Pyramid Air and this gun. Said to self Wow but not paying a
thousand bucks for a pellet gun.
Well that was three months ago and numerous thousands

Welcome to our addiction 🤪

Sorry, ...It only gets worse 😉

I got the 26.5gr zans to 980fps and got 32shots from 230 down to 130bar. I need abit more fine tuning to see hiw well it groups, but there is -20 outside so I have just shot offhand out a Window at 40m at that is 10 shots within 5cm, so I have to tighten it up in the bench later :)

I also tried 37gr zan at 965fps but that only gave me 11 shots so have to wait with those until I get the 700mm tube a a bit more air.

Edit: i have seen several posts that also shots theese heavier slugs at lower speeds (910-940) with good results so I have an option there to try also.

Dump the tungsten hammer and put the stock 25 cal hammer in it. If it is loud you are getting way too much air.
I have a Panthera 600mm 25 which is basically the same block and with no after market snake oil I can push 33 gr slugs at 1015 at 135 bar.
You are way over hammered. Do that before you go changing the valve.

I can try to put it back, but I didnt gain any fps with the stock 10g hammer over 120-125bar last time?

Edit: did put the stock hammer back now and with 33.95g king heavy the max speed i get is 880fps, with max hammer tennsion.
