It has come to my attention over the week end that T- Moble is blacklisting/ blocking any company offering shooting supplies, air and powder burners. companies like Midway, Airgun Depot, Guns international. The sad thing is I can go to amazon find the same item from the same co. and not have a problem that i am aware of right now. My carrier of choice is Tello , but Tello is operating on T- Moble ( used to be on Sprint, but T -Moble bought Sprint a while back) any one else having this problem with cell systems.? ( same kind deal the credit card co/ banks were/are pulling. )

You mean if you dial one of these companies it is stopped ? Censorship would be a good case in court .

just googled this ; T-Mobile is not censoring gun-related calls. However, T-Mobile does impose fines on third-party vendors that send mass messaging campaigns that include certain topics, such as firearms, without age verification.

T-Mobile is rejecting Firearm campaigns based on their interpretation of the CTIA code of conduct on page 10.. T-Mobile has made it clear that if there is a link to a gun store on the text campaign, and in the store ammunition is sold, they will not accept the campaign and will suppress messages.

This is for those annoying promotional text messages you get advertising a particular product. Not normal text messages between individuals. You could send a test message to someone recommending an airgun store or PB store for weapons or ammo and it would not be blocked. The key is text campaign.

This is my personal cell phone. whether it is logging into wifi or not I do not know . at home I have very poor connections to anything RF frequency wise. i tried at my shop in the middle of the large metro area same deal. Gun broker and guns international do not send out junk mail or advertisements. It also blocks forums like this. the phone is set for medium security. I do not believe that is the issue . It is a some sort of policy from T-Mobile. I object to some co. or anyone else for that matter that thinks their particular ideas are the only way to fly and the force that on me. Course I am just an old mean crochety sob. This is a means of limiting information to control the masses to push their own agenda. If I had deep pockets - sure as hell it would be in court one way or another . As such I will be exploring other carriers paying attention to whose system they are operating on. its their co. so they can set their rules - but the issue is related to being a public service albet in a some what limited fashion. I had an issue with an insurance underwriter ( young liberal female) years ago that did not like the name of my biz., and refused to renew my policy Do not use that co anymore. To Me it is like the baker out in Seattle that refused to make a cake or something for someone a while back, That made national news but was a bit different in context- Just like my shop I am not bound to provide service to every Tom Dick and Harry. I have been in the service industry for 50+ years and have met some real pieces of work in that time frame.
