WestHunter Optics HD GEN2 8-32x56 Series Precision Competition Riflescope

I just pushed the button and ordered through Amazon if it’s bad I can return no harm done.
I will let everybody know later what I find.
if someone has experience with this scope pls reply.

There is westhunter Canada I think china like us more than the US lol. Just gotta open very carefully.

Although our gun laws really suck this is one advantage although a very small one lol

Scope 7/10. Very long and huge. 34mm tube. 56mm obj. 8-32x56mm def for long range only even though parallax goes to 10m. I still believe that the Discovery ED line is better in regards to glass, the Discovery is brighter. HOWEVER, when looking super long range you can see details and when the scope is at maximum 32x the field of view is very large. I can hold the scope by hand and I can still see 32x detail where usually with other scopes any movement at this power you are shaking and won’t be able to see very clear.
Apparently glass is from Japan. For 300CAD this is a steal. I was planning to put on my Zelos but this is too big for that. Instead I put a new Discovery HD 6-24x50mm from Wes. The Westhunter is going on my Tikka super varmint cerakote green 308. I’m sure it will be able to handle. Also on another note Discovery test the scope before sending out and puts documentation from each technician and signs off on every test. This Westhunter does not. Not a deal breaker but would like to see in the future.
I will post once I test the tracking and how it handles.

It’s nighttime where I live I will double check at daytime tomorrow. However as I mentioned it is clear and it does work well. I give it 7/10 as mentioned. The reason being that it is clear but not bright. I love the ED glass as it seems brighter than the HD. I describe It as looking through sunglasses. It’s clear but a little dim. This is what I fond but I’ll double check tomorrow. I wish there is a way to take a picture or record to show clarity of a scope.

Update to this Westhunter scope. It’s holding up on my tikka 308. The scope caps suck and the reticle is very fine. But it holds zero and the glass is not too bad. I still like the Discovery ED and Vecfor Continental lines but this is a close third place. Awesome price for this amount of scope.
In my pics is groups at 200m. The other single target pic is at 100m but odd as it looks like my error as I kept going right no vertical spread.

Although it’s 30cal I can see the holes at 200m with 16x I never tried stronger power.
