Hello. Has anyone checked how the Zan BR100 shells in the AGT U2 with a 700 barrel work? I wonder if it's worth trying..

Will need to modify magazine for longer ammo, BR100s too long to load mag for more than single shot. WM

I have a cartridge for one shot, but the magazine for long bullets is not a problem either. The point is whether someone has already checked them.

Sorry, did run some thru a year ago but single feed didn't impress me. Since 700mm U2 barrels are designed for slugs, pellets (JSB 44.75 and BR100s) were decent, but not accurate like slugs. I'll run some tomorrow and comment back on this thread. WM

You're welcome, I'll be testing and posting pictures of JSB 44.75s, BR100s and FX 50.1 pellets later today. Bought ZAN's .30 Slug Assortment Box (44-68 grain range, 6 choices) and tested several times. 54 and 59 grain (best) were clear favorites. Subsequent searches with AVS, ZAN, NSA, Javelin and Wildman in 59-61.5 grain range (.300) found similar accuracy. ZAN's 59, Wildman's Dish Base (60 grain), NSA (61.5 grain) and Javelin Gen 2 (60 grain) are top performers. WM

Thank you very much. It's a waste of time for zan and fx, but jsb looks interesting. Some time ago I decided on zan .303 61gr and I have some reserve but I will still experiment with those you mentioned earlier. It can always be better than it is, so it's worth it. Let's have fun with this

Purchased U2 slugger for 100+ yard problem neighborhood crows since Wildcat MK3 Sniper .30, and JSB 44.75s, had scared 50 yard, and under, shots away. Subsequent to that, hurricane force winds took down favorite crow hangout trees at 100+ yards, so moot point. Recently switched back from slugs to JSB 44.75s since U2 shoots well @ 50 yards and pushes out 100fps faster than Wildcat. My Vulcan 3 700mm .30 doesn't do pellets but shoots 59-61.5 slugs as well as U2 so keep magazine filled with them. WM
