Introduce myself

NRL22 Series is a competitive shooting league that you shoot at steel targets ranging in size from 1/4" to 3" at distances from 35 yards to 100 yards to fit on most club ranges from multiple props and objects . The also have NRL22X matches that you can shoot out to 300+ yards. They have rimfire and air rifle divisions. It's alot of fun and something different.
I missed this response, until now about 10 months later. Lol
I shoot powder every couple of weeks and Air nearly daily. I have been using accurate guns, then stretching to the edge of their range to introduce the long range challenge.
I'm shooting from a bench, and primarily plinking.
My PCP, a Crown .30 cal is too accurate and powerful for my range. It is actually more accurate than my Kidd 10/22 at the moment.
I recently bought a .22 caliber change kit for the Crown so I can cool its jets. 😁
In the meantime I started shooting springers to fill the challenge. Springers add even more handicap with their recoil and dwell time.

I've always been considered a good shot, but I have a lot to learn from the benched guns and sometimes wonder if I just been a lucky shot!

I hope all is well. 👍

I have my fun with working on and plinking with Daisy lever guns. (To each his own) In my youth I was on a team of indoor prone shooters using 22 cal powder burners. These days the little plinkers help to fill the gap of lost trigger time. Stay safe. Russ

I have a load of Daisys and grandkids and neighbors to shoot them. I just bought a Daisy 853 Avanti, to shoot some paper with. I also have a set of Daisy SSP pistols that are great recoiles shooters with excellent triggers. I was hoping the Avanti would be a rifle equivalent to the pistol, but it isn't. It has decent accuracy, but the trigger is like shooting a recurve bow. 😁

Sounds like you'd have fun checking out the Central Pa Airgun Show on May 3rd.

No I'm down in Louisiana.
I got the Avanti from Airguns of Arizonas recent "Pe-Owned" sale. The 717, and 747, were both gifts, from awesome freinds, and the 7 lever guns were from Academy. 👍
As my old man would have said, Louisiana ain't that far. It's a short walk if you run! Lol If you ever get on YouTube, check out Daisy lever gun fun.
Stay safe. Russ
