Groups near Barclaysville, NC

I have a friend near Barclaysville, NC who would like to get started in shooting. She has limited resources.
I am in Nevada, so I'm not going to be of much use.
I am hoping there's a group close to her where she could get some friendly training. Maybe this would lead to sport shooting.

Tar Heel air gun club in Burlington…about an hour and a half away. Great group of guys and gals. John
