Brocock/BRK sniper XR magnum

Looking for some sort of hammer upgrade for a Brocock sniper XR magnum in .25cal.
Have done some searching and can’t seem to find much for this model.
Not my gun but just seeing if anyone out there is cranking them up. Working up to heavy slugs, currently 941fps in 26.5gr maxed out or 904fps in 30gr. The end goal is to get to 36-40gr slugs in the 975-1025fps hopefully but it’s out of hammer.
Didn’t know if a heavier hammer or heavier spring was available.

Any particular reason you seem to think that you "need" an...updated hammer ?

My XR works just fine with the, "as provided" hammer. So it seems to me that a hammer that works as designed, should be quite useful for setting off the valve to release the air charge, again, as designed.

Please inform me (others).

What are you running for reg pressure?

Not my gun, never had my hands on this gun.
Trying to help another member from 1200miles away.
At 165reg was the last setting I heard, hammer maxed out, power setting all the way up.

I was just looking at the BRK website and it lists the .25cal Sniper Magnum at a max of 55fpe. 30gr at 904fps is 54.45fpe on the calculator I checked. Maybe he can reach out to the guy from England that does the tear down and mod videos for air rifles and he can help him out in some way. Or look at something like the Ghost if he wants more potential.

Those numbers are just crazy to me being in stock form my FX is capable of 107fpe in the same caliber. I’m running 38.9gr at 1085fps now after upgrades to my FX.
Power is one thing, if it’s not accurate, but as I worked my way up it just continued to shoot really well.
