I got this one in 22.
Mainly for the plinking of course, but also for smaller animals that may be tasty and/or kill my smallest dog. It’s coyote season in Michigan.
I thought I’d have issues with the standard grip and be looking to Ergo or someone else immediately but Nope.
It is a surprise to me, a rubberized oversized grip that I don’t think I’ll be replacing anytime soon. Good job FX on your stock grip.
Time will tell since I’m stuck with this winter weather but just handling this one sends me positive vibes haha.

Well I finally got it out yesterday and burned through a mag before the snow started again and my fingers froze! Amazing setup (well ok my bootleg bipod could use some tensioning help), so glad I bought this sucka. Night and day obviously compared to my Origin. The thing that surprised me the most other than smooth cocking/smooth feeding of ammo, great trigger, adjustable buttpad is how quiet it is. Very. I have a few different silencer’s for my Origin, I even did the shroud baffle mod to help quiet it down. Not even close to this M4. Origin regardless of setup the neighbors know I’m using it. Not with this guy

What do you think of each so far? I also found out that I need an extended quick connect to fill the gun easily. My fingers are far too large to grab it easily.
