What springer did you shoot today?

Shot the new pro sport in today for some 30-50 ish shots.

Beautiful gun. Had the luxury to pick out of 4 walnut stocks. This is .22 full power one (21-23J).

Cocks like a b*tch but shoots ultra smooth.

Wil likely tune in the future for a bit more smoother cocking cycle.

Also shot the hw30 which is new but def needs a tune. Bucks like a bull compares to that pro sport 😂.

You will find an easier way to jack the PS. Nice score. Crow

Be careful cocking that pro sport. When I got mine a couple of years ago, it was a hot summer day and I was getting rather sweaty, and was cocking using my right hand to cock. I forget exactly how I was doing it, but my left hand wrapped around the forearm and my slightly slick right hand slipped off the cocking lever and it slammed onto my left thumb breaking the first joint. Now I place the butt on my hip, hold the wrist of the stock with my right hand and cock with the left. This is one that I wish had a beartrap much like the TX200

A balmy 34F. 10 am and a HW98 .177.
Yesterday tried severing a can but that last little stran at 38 yds. Sometimes impossible to hit. Just not enough time to drop it. First shot with the 98, dropped it. Can’t miss with this one.
IMG_1165.jpeg
And my first Weihrauch, a HW90 .25. Named “180”. When I first got it I could have called it Haemorrhoid. Sat in rack for 2 years before I put a gauge on it. 18 bar turned it into one fine gun. A pleasure to shoot compared to the early days.

One lethal gun. Great start to a day. Crow

Everyone told me to buy a Sig ASP20. "Awesome gun!", they said. "Amazingly accurate!", I was told. " Very powerful!" They boasted.
Welp,.... They were right. These are hard to find. I wanted one in .22 foremost, and with a wood stock as a secondary requirement. I finally found one for sale in .22, but it was a synthetic stock. I don't like plastic, and that includes triggers. Especially triggers... I bought it regardless.
Anyway, " They " were right! What a sweet rifle. Once I tossed a UTG 3-9 X 40 on it and got it dialed in, I went about pruning a tree branch that was hanging into my shooting lane. Good fun, indeed! It took several dozen shots to completely sever the branch and I only missed twice. About 1,1/4" thick at 25 yards. I felt like cheering when the branch finally let go.
Really glad that I listened...

The new 98's don't have the black paint in the stippling. Do you have that one as well, and if so which do you like better?

Congraduations on your find. I’ve never seen one but would buy in a heartbeat. Great range and shooting. I’ve cut branches and it’s most satisfying. Just cut a can in half an hour ago.
Enjoy your find. Crow

My .177 and .22 are painted and the last gem .20 is not.
‘The 22. is on the bench.

I kinda like the painted, maybe. The black brings out the scope and barrel. Awesome guns. Crow

Where the action from that bare stock hanging there? The one I bought that is lost in shipping was black, which I like. The new ones aren't, they're just different.

From this afternoon, my .177 HW50 with a brand new Vortek kit, I installed it last night. Just a solid thump, no buzz, no boing. Same fps and fpe (747, 10.8) with its favorite JTS 8.7. Very accurate but not as accurate as my FWB 150. Still obsessed, shot a couple cards but still too windy. Any wind really messes with a 7.3 gr pallet going 630 fps at 30 yds :). Cheers! Rick

Again 34F with gusts. Morning shoot with a HW50 .20. Vortek goodies with a sweet shot cycle. This gun would be a perfect squirrel rifle.
IMG_1174.jpeg
This afternoon shot a HW97 .177 with Vortek 12 FPE spring. Accuracy isn’t a problem. I have 4 more of these springs en-route. Can’t wait. What a transformation.
IMG_1175.jpeg
And last up a FWB sport. This beast is finally stating to loosen up. Doesn’t get enough air time.

Only gun I have 2 of. Crow

The HW50 puts out some power for it's size and weight.🔥

Shot the HW30 this evening at 40 yards, I was using the AA falcon 7.33, not it's best pellet at this range. Best group about 1/2". I have some JSB 7.87's on the way, going to see it they shoot as well as the AA blue tin 7.87's.
IMG_8148.jpeg

I cleaned the barrel after the top three groups
IMG_8146.jpeg

Pulled 7, first 4 with ballistol, followed with 3 dry patches.
IMG_8147.jpeg

Shot more groups. Getting dark at this point.
