That would nullify the whole reason for drain off. You can‘t drain fluid without draining the air also.hopefully there is a shut off so you do not have to loose the pressure in the filter every time you start up.

Do you mean one way check valve? If so how do you do you stop from dumping all the pressure when you release the probe or connector? . As I understand it takes a very long time to recharge the larger filters with these units. Read here it takes over 20 minutes to charge a double filter set up. that isa long time. I woud think you need some type of shut off after the filters to avoid this. Seen a couple set ups the have a valve in older posts.Check valve fittings in the right places is what I do.
I would think draining the filter should only take a small bit of opening the bleeder and not a full dump. Im just trying to avoid the rechardge time of the filters, according to a shooter here, it took 20+ minute to charge his filter pack alone. Add that to the tank or rifles fill time. That would nullify the whole reason for drain off. You can‘t drain fluid without draining the air also.
Yes, with the Gx cs4. This is with the tall gold twin Tuxing filters. Just looking at it would appear to closing in on a liter.I would think draining the filter should only take a small bit of opening the bleeder and not a full dump. Been looking for a small 1/8 npt high pressure air valves. Found a few on the bay, but seems most (hard seat) are for fluids. Thinking the easy peezy would work, but read about a lot of rebuilds on those...Yes, with the Gx cs4. This is with the tall gold twin Tuxing filters. Not counting how much volume the filter media takes up. It’s aggravating if you have 2 tanks to fill and fully drain between.
Will the filter have more than 1 type of media? It will have media in it, and from what I understand, the filter can remain pressurized, or you can bleed out water over long fills without loosing air in the tank line. Once I get one in a few weeks and check it out, I'll be able to better answer those questions, which is something I want to know more about myself.
I have seen the video on how it comes apart too and it is definitely unique.
The filter will have a spare cartridge as well that you can refill.
It probably works like a home/shop compressor drain valve. The water sits at the bottom, you crack the valve, let water drain until you start blowing air, close the valve. That would nullify the whole reason for drain off. You can‘t drain fluid without draining the air also.
How many air per minutes is the gx cs4 pushing out?Yes, with the Gx cs4. This is with the tall gold twin Tuxing filters. Just looking at it would appear to closing in on a liter.

Factory specifications are 11 liters per minute for the CS4 and CS4-i.How many air per minutes is the gx cs4 pushing out?
I think this filters are better when they are used together with strong 110v/230v compressors.
My Yong Heng, which is labeled as 50l per minute, fill up the tuxing double cylinder filter unit in very short time (way under 5 minutes i think). I should measure the time with a stopclock.
I think about filling it with my tuxing 12v compressor, but i think it will get overheated when trying to fill both the tank and the double filter.
One thing about the Gx cs4 is it doesn’t get hot. I ran for 5 hours 10 minutes with nothing more than Luke warm. This was filling a 9 liter from empty. Unfortunately the thermometer was installed after this. I couldn’t find any info on a fill rate per minuteHow many air per minutes is the gx cs4 pushing out?

Nope, I said the filter and the two connectors totaled $66.EPG you said the Tuxing filter was $207. That link says $57, which is more in line with
their pricing.
Hello 01990coltI'll post a link when they are available.
If you are on Facebook, follow the Facebook GX owners group page as the link will be offered up there first.
I'm not sure where they will drop from...it could be Amazon, GX PUMP, or somewhere else.
I'll know more once they are here.Hello 01990colt
I've watched the videos about this filter and took notice of the bleeding sequence
- Bottom of filter
- then top of filter
- compressor bleed screw
Obviously, by the time one bleeds the compressor there is no pressure remaining
If using this on a CS-4 does the sequence have an effect on the performance or bleeding of its onboard coalescing filter?
Thanks
Edward
So, tested today. Filling only golden Tuxing filter in 2:45 mins (0 to ~4400 psi) with my good ol yong heng (50l per minute). How many air per minutes is the gx cs4 pushing out?

Just found out this new filter is coming soon to the US market.
40mpa/5800psi
Water drain
Two pressure relief valves, one from filter to tank, the other from filter to compressor
Strong magnets on the side to make it super easy to attach to your compressor.
Very well built and was heavily tested by GX before US release.
I'll know more once I can get my hands on one!
Video picture is just that.. only a pic, not the video

How long did it take you to fill that 9l bottle with that compressor and to what pressure? Here is what I did regarding filtration on my new GX E 5K1. Used it to fill a 9L tank from empty today.
The total cost of the Tuxing molecular sieve filter (came with a refill), the 90 degree quick disconnect elbow, and the M10 female quick disconnect was $66 bucks - probably less using AliExpress coupons and coins. Oh, and a bungee cord for stability.
What I like about my setup is it keeps the filter upright and high (water has to battle uphill). Also does not require multiple fill whips and multiple connections that can leak and also require air capacity.
Link to filter:
I just found this on AliExpress: $207.39 | TUXING 4500Psi 300Bar Molecular Sieve Oil Water Compressor Filter Separator for High Pressure Compressor L350mm*OD49mm*ID36mm
Link to 90 degree elbow fitting and Female M10 quick connect fitting (stainless):
I just found this on AliExpress: $1.73 | HPA Quick Disconnect Male Female Adaptor 8mm Fill Nipple High Pressure 1/8NPT 1/8BSPP M10*1 Stainless Steel
The Tuxing filter seems great quality, thick walls. I swapped the male quick disconnect fitting that was preinstalled on the “bottom” of the filter to the “top”. Then I used the M10 Female on the bottom of the filter, rather than the fill whip that comes with the filter. I used the M10 dowty seal (metal & rubber washer) that comes with the filter to seal the M10 Female - to ensure no air leaks. Took 3 minutes to install the fittings. Use a thick Allen key in the holes on both end caps and an adjustable wrench on the fittings to tighten them down.
I hope this helps someone with their filter setup.
To top off 580cc bottles using the GX 5K1, don’t even bother with a filter, the compressor tops them off in a minute or two, it’s barely started working - no heat or water .
