FWB FWB 602 soon to be on way home

I just got a call from David Slade. He has my FWB 602 on his bench, and gave me a price to completely reseal and replace the cocking arm bumper, $245 and that includes return shipping. I paid 450 delivered to me from Hawaii last month knowing it needed some work, and probably about 40 shipping it to David. That makes a little over $700, This gun has a beautiful walnut stock which I have been refinishing with Tung oil over the last few weeks while the acutal "gun" has been gone.

How about a pic of the stock?

Me too. Me too. I want to see the stock. Maybe make us wait until it is all together. Ha! ANTICIPATION IS MAKING ME WAIT. Be Well Brothers, Bandito.
I'll wait until I get it all together andpost a pic.
Here is a link where it was sold a few years ago. You can see the stock damage in the forearm area.

Yes, I lucked into this one, most seem to have those laminated stocks which I will concede to be more stable, but nothing compares to the beauty of a good piece of walnut.

I shot it a little today. My shooting is outside and I did manage at 10 yards to get 3 shots through the same hole before either the wind got to me, it was moving the pellet or making my target move some , still a one hole 5 shot group just larger than pellet size.

The 600 series SSPs from Feinwerkbau are incredible shooters!

Love your walnut stock! My 603 has one of those multi-colored (blue, green, gray, red) laminated stocks that's pretty gaudy.

During the long winter indoor shooting season the 603 has a permanent spot on the shooting table...

I'm with you not a big fan of thos multi colored laminate stocks,or laminate in general. I just wish FWB had stayed away from the white plastic in the buttpad, and the white on the rear diopter, like the black diopter on your 603 better. I hope someday to find one of those FWB SSP pistols.

The Feinwerkbau 100 series SSP pistols are awesome... which is why people don't sell them.

Mine is a Model 100 that I lucked into just at the time when the FWB PCPs became popular.

Good luck in your search!
