I have enjoyed modifing my HW44 into a carbine w HW44 barrel then a HW110 barrel 310mm long, throughly enjoy this platform

That looks great. How much velocity did you gain? I can definitely see a 310mm barrel in my future.

I think the end play would be to go for a Rink stock, they look awesome 👍

If you're interested in a cheap carbine setup try lwm211's mod. Granted, it's not nearly as attractive as the Rinks, but it works great. Like Leon, I had enough stuff to try it out without buying anything.

I actually sold my Rinks and currently have all three of my HW44's with this setup. Just seems to fit me better.

Ratworks carbine air tube and fill assembly arrived 👍

75g weight saved and 40% more shots, so pushing 140 for my UK spec Sub6 .177 😂

It works like a champ. I had to remove a small amount of the plastic shroud near the end of the barrel for the added length of the HW100 cylinder and grind down the bottom side of the moderator adapter slightly to clear the gauge. Shot count went from mid 20's to 40 shots (.177). I also added a homemade moderator. It's obviously not as quite as the Weihrauch but actually still pretty quite to my ears and 3.25" shorter.
I purchased a HW100 bullpup a while back and added a longer Ratworks aluminun cylinder so I already had the cylinder, so I had no expense for this mod. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Still awaiting another shroud to arrive, I don’t want to chop up my original because it has all the spec and serial numbers on it, so I can put it all back to original condition if I want
How to swap the HW44 cylinder with the HW100 one.?
Does it simply means unscrewing the back end of the HW44 (regulator part) and fitting it to the HW100 cylinder?

Yes, once the grip and trigger is removed you can get access to the rear of the air cylinder. Post #9 explains how to do it. Once you remove the socket head set screw that hold the air cylinder in place it drops right out.
Thanks...but two questions;
1- can you leave the gauge that comes with the HW110 cylinder on?
2-Does the back end (regulator/action) of the HW44 fit into the HW100 cylinder ?

I'm also planning to fit HW110 Carbine barrel as well at the same time

Sounds like a good plan.
Yes, the cylinders are the same on HW44's, HW110's & HW100's, so gauge and reg ends will interchange.
The ends are a bit of a pain to remove. If you need to remove the ends I'd suggest using the method I mentioned above. The first time I tried it I used a heat gun, sparingly I thought, and overheated and warped the dial on the gauge. That was an expensive lesson.

Nice work! 👍

I managed to save my HW44 moderator to use on a 1/2x20 threaded HW110 barrel, found a tool/puller with the correct threads to fit the body, but needed an insert to reduce id threads, loctite used to install insert, into the puller, so the HW44 mod stays with the HW 44 carbine

for air tube install,,, helpful tip,,,
the screw that holds the airtube on, the receiver, I use a telescoping magnet to get it into and hold it in place 'until' I get a long allen wrench in place , to then hold the screw, as I then insert the tube for assembly to the receiver

Great posts here, learned a lot! Thanks all!

I have two HW100 FAC PCPs (.177 & .22) and the HW44.

My Canadian HW44 is limited by law to 500 fps (about 10 fpe). I'm getting quite a few shots on a fill, guessing 60 or so, enough that I've never paid much attention to it.

Most of my plinking and pesting is done at short range (sub 20 yards) so 10 fpe is plenty and the increased shot count is a bonus.

Cheers!
