Feinwerkbau FWB Model 65 could be a great economic indicator.

I have bought and sold a few FWB M65 pistols over the years. I used to rebuild them and shoot them till I wanted something else and then sell them. I have lost interest in them and haven’t had one in a while but have always kept a feel of the values by watching prices. During good times they fly off auction sites and don’t last on the classifieds. I won’t go into why but consumer sentiment is currently off and the 65s are stacked up like cordwood on EBay and are sitting in the classifieds. If nothing else they are more fun to look at than stock futures.

i hate to say it but i disagree
there are 4 on Ebay at this time 2 are overpriced but that is not what you have to look at and that is COMPLETE
there you will see how many and at what price they have sold at and the prices have great variation from middle 400's to 800 bucks
i would have to make a chart to see when they sold and i have no desire to do that
10+ years ago you could get one for 300-350 USD and a nice one would get you 550-600 USD now
will they ever be 300 bucks again, well that is a good question but the country is in very unsettled times and many thing that we saw 2 months ago could be long gone by tomorrow
is today a good time to invest in AIR GUNS NO
could there be a mass sell off in the short term, i think that could very well happen
my magic 8 BALL say the future looks cloudy

I hope someone gets tired of theirs and wants to donate it to a nonprofit guy, I mean organization. Let me know if that is your situation and I will PM you my address. I might be able to dig up a coffee can with enough finances there to pay for shipping. FWB 65, 80, and 90s are interesting to me and I would like to be able to own one before I leave this world, Be Well Brothers, Bandito.

I am going to run it by Buffett. He will probably agree that my method of gauging the state of the economy is total crap also.
