Ordered a 24" .25 Airforce barrel for my Condor. $230+, It was to arrive on Friday. I was out, got home, package awaits!
Pick up the box and it is suspiciously light. Get to back and open the box, just one sheet of brown packaging paper. Then I notice the hole in the corner of the box.
Almost exactly the size of the barrel mounting rings.
immediately shoot an email off to Pyramyd. Decrying their abysmal packing job. A barrel in a box that size with several feet of packing paper. No foam, nothing to keep a fairly stout piece of metal from banging around in the box.
Turns out that Pyramyd doesn't work weekends. So Monday rolls around and i get an email asking if the barrel was damaged. HUH, was the hole insufficient clue or the actual verbiage in my email stating there was no barrel. So, they finally figure out no barrel was delivered.
Since this no longer is my problem I ask for a new barrel or a refund. I am sure not accepting that barrel. Nope, they and UPS have to investigate the claim and once that finishes they *may* send me my new barrel.
So, Pyramyd and UPS screw up and I'm the one that has nothing to show for it. They have both been paid and I get nothing until they decide who is at fault. No time frame, just "when the investigation is complete.
All I ever hear is how great Pyramyd packs things. Yeah, big box, 1 sheet of paper and then put in the gentle hands of UPS. What could possibly go wrong
