Too light a tube is also unsteady.

If one would notice, my blowguns have either stainless or brass handguards to give them more heft. Moreover, I don’t use a mouthpiece but they do have stainless bushings/sleeves.

All of them have muzzleguards as well 👍

Lol my thought exactly. The only thing quieter would be a blowgun. As others have suggested. I think its too far gone for projectiles tho trap em 5-10 at a time in a bucket lol works like a charm. Drop of dish soap so theres no water tension makes it even harder to tread water. Most humane way I can think of for groups of rodents.
