What pistol did you shoot today

Dug up my 1701, from 2021 (new out of box for the most part, minus the custom grips and sights). Shooting Predator GTOs (6.79gr). Was not satisfied with avg speeds of 505fps, so after increasing the spring load by 3.5 turns (no idea what it was set to out of the box/new)… am a happy camper at consistency of ~550fps (10shots, btwn ~2800psi-2600psi). She’s a keeper.

(Ignore the ft-lbs data in the shot count; was too lazy to change the pellet weight.

All 10 shots at 5yd; standing/two-handed.)

Just tried some Barra zinc plated BBs. These yield the best accuracy yet. Actually pretty decent.
They're about 0.001" larger in diameter than the Black Diamonds or AGS.
Perhaps the tighter fit in the barrel helps?

Shot my Steyr LP50 Compact yesterday. It is the standard velocity model, not the RF or HP. It shoots the pellets shown at 497fps. Shot standing, unsupported with a two hand hold at 25 yards. First target is 10 shots, then 20 on the next target.

There is still a pistol under there somewhere

I put about 100 Crosman Premiers thru my new Umarex Ruger Mk IV. At about 12 yards I can hit a soda can consistently. I didn't find the trigger to be a problem on mine like I expected from the reviews I have seen.

Someone left some 28.5 grain .22 pellets at the range the other day.
I shot them in the PRod.
At 515fpe, they were just short of 17.0 fpe..

just can't put this down , new2me FWB 65 . just picking it up shoot a few , move on to next house chore , shoot a few more , next chore etc.

Two 0.22's for you to view too.

I put a couple CO2 cartridges in my pockets while checking the computer
When they warm up I will shoot the 2300S.

The 65 is a masterpiece of engineering. Every time I pick it up I’m amazed at how effective that recoil slide works. And correct me if I’m wrong … it uses metal piston rings.
