25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

To improve accuracy on an air rifle that has that tight of fps consistency you may need to work on the barrel bore or crown for imperfections, or how it is loading the slugs. Alternatively, weight sorting and matching the slugs helps with fliers. And also try running silicone lubed slugs to see if those are more consistent shot for shot.
Good point I’ve worked on just about everything I can modify on the air rifle with the exception of any valve porting or barrel polishing. I’ll definitely keep the barrel polishing in mind. Thank you

I've got an HW99s in .22 unmolested and it is sublimely accurate and easy shoot with very little recoil compared with my Hatsan Striker in .25. The Hatsan is a totally different beast and I haven't hunted with it or done any pest control yet, but for smiles it's the one!
My 99 is almost surgical and .22 is the perfect caliber for it. It's my go to for any job that's required.
