Anschutz Anschutz LG380

I finally got to shoot my (new to me) Anschutz LG380 yesterday. Some tweaking of the diopter and I was ready to go. Here are the first 5 shots at 11.8 meters. I am very pleased with that, especially with my old eyes looking through a diopter sight. I have to do some convincing in my mind that what I am looking at is actually centered:rolleyes: I wish I had the eyesight I had when I was younger!! I plan on installing a scope on it in the near future.

It's amazing how much fun these 10m rifles are to shoot. I now have the FWB 300s, Diana 75HV and the Anschutz LG380. All 3 bring a smile to my face when I shoot them. While I have some more powerful springers, there is just something about these old 10m rifles. The precision and craftsmanship are like a finely tuned swiss watch.

yes, they are great rifles 071921113325IMG_0937.jpg

This rifle continues to impress me. Yesterday I made a tiny spot on the target to see if I could still center it in that sight aperture. Here you can see 4 shots through that tiny spot, then 4 more shots in the large stick on spot as I was slowly dialing in the windage to get things more centered. Dead center now. With that Diopter sight the precision in the moves were as stable as a good quality scope. You can see the shots remained in a horizontal line as I slowly moved a couple clicks at a time to get it in the center.

This time I was using the Air Arms 8.4's, which this rifle seems to really like. My FWB 300s also seems to prefer these.
