Daisy Daisy 880 love

This is my rat/starling rig.
I'm running a $25 daisy target peep and a supressor from a long gone maker. (Always buy a pair and a spare if you find something that works for you)
That target was verifying my Z@25m; I was satisfied at shot 1...
Anyone else love these things? I'd love to see one in .22; that'd be a starling anchor...

Nice set up🤘. 880s remind me so much of my childhood. I use to carry this one on dog walks. Set up with a crap scope like when I was a kid even. Now it’s just a gun I keep in the pole barn.
They do shoot pretty good for what they are. The older ones especially. A wood 970 is on my want list.

I remember that scope! I can still see the crosshairs in my mind. They still make those (by "they", I mean just about every pump-gun manufacturer on the planet)
My best friend and I had those on our Daisy Eagles; fantastic guns! My friend fell and broke his stock, and started using his dad's 880. I remembered some of the INSANE shots he was making with that thing, and when I came back to air rifles, I was glad to see they're still being made!

I bought an 880 with a metal receiver and metal pump arm on eBay. Shoots at 695 fps with 10 pumps and 7.0 gr Hobbies. I love the offset Piccanny rail and the 3x12x32 Bugbuster scope I put on mine. These 880s are the easiest to pump of my pumpers. However, you need a surgeon to load a pellet into one.

Seriously; the breech is rediculously out of scale 🤣
