I’ve sent my 30 caliber FX Pantera to Utah airgun to repair a leak need opinions on whether to upgrade it for more power or would you leave it factory so I guess what I’m asking is it worth it to get more power or leave it factory?
I plan to shoot critters pigeon mainly occasionally some metal targets. I have not used the Chrono yet, but it’s pretty powerful now. I have my regulator set at 140 anything over that shoots kind of weak. You can actually see the pellet if you go over 140.
No offense but you haven’t even done the ground level 101 airgun tuning or checkup. You haven’t even chronoed it and already want to dive in power. FX just needs to stop pushing this. Leave it stock…
i have one with the now-unrecommended tungsten hammer. At 170bar, i am shooting 65 and 70gr slugs around 980 to 1000fps. It is getting around 140fpe. I guess now they recommend a (brass?) hammer with an 8mm long weight at the end for high power - are you looking at that, or the tungsten hammer?
