New GX filter is coming out!

Here is what I did regarding filtration on my new GX E 5K1. Used it to fill a 9L tank from empty today.

The total cost of the Tuxing molecular sieve filter (came with a refill), the 90 degree quick disconnect elbow, and the M10 female quick disconnect was $66 bucks - probably less using AliExpress coupons and coins. Oh, and a bungee cord for stability.

What I like about my setup is it keeps the filter upright and high (water has to battle uphill). Also does not require multiple fill whips and multiple connections that can leak and also require air capacity.

I just found this on AliExpress: $207.39 | TUXING 4500Psi 300Bar Molecular Sieve Oil Water Compressor Filter Separator for High Pressure Compressor L350mm*OD49mm*ID36mm

Link to 90 degree elbow fitting and Female M10 quick connect fitting (stainless):
I just found this on AliExpress: $1.73 | HPA Quick Disconnect Male Female Adaptor 8mm Fill Nipple High Pressure 1/8NPT 1/8BSPP M10*1 Stainless Steel

The Tuxing filter seems great quality, thick walls. I swapped the male quick disconnect fitting that was preinstalled on the “bottom” of the filter to the “top”. Then I used the M10 Female on the bottom of the filter, rather than the fill whip that comes with the filter. I used the M10 dowty seal (metal & rubber washer) that comes with the filter to seal the M10 Female - to ensure no air leaks. Took 3 minutes to install the fittings. Use a thick Allen key in the holes on both end caps and an adjustable wrench on the fittings to tighten them down.

I hope this helps someone with their filter setup.

To top off 580cc bottles using the GX 5K1, don’t even bother with a filter, the compressor tops them off in a minute or two, it’s barely started working - no heat or water .

Just curious.. what are the max pressure specs on the fittings you are using? EX: the SS elbow.
