Tuxing Twin All varieties

I’m adding a larger Joe Brancato gauge to my 9 liter tank.
Heaven forbid I had to drain 3500 psi of air. Seemed like
loosing a hundred dollar bill.. ! Haaa
So refilling right now and want to share the result.

One of the things I did on my TXEDM042 was add an external digital guage (calibrated). Compressor guage is small and the Compressor vibrates hard so reading it was hard.

First thing i did was get that foam pad out of the shipping box and screw id down on my porch for the compressor to sit on. Otherwise it went for walks as it ran.

So about an hour and 10 minutes . Head temp never got to 120f water less than 80f

Oh hell yea! Foster QD on the pressure gauge? I love it. I can't believe I didn't think of that. Now you can spin the gauge to face any direction, at any time.. I'll be changing mine out in about 3 minutes. Thanks for the great idea.

Nice set up, that's quite the difference in psi. I have several different types of gauges on my different tanks, I do trust the liquid filled ones more. I would definitely replace the gauge on the compressor with a liquid filled one, that difference would bother me. I sell affordable ones on eBay that fit a tuxing (ds_airgun_supplies. I have the open frame twin tuxing so no shroud to contend with though. On a side note that's awesome that the tuxing can handle that long of a run time and temps. Ive never let mine get above 90⁰ because I'm paranoid it will break like my yong. 20250323_104448.jpg20250323_104436.jpg20250323_104426.jpg20250323_104412.jpg20250323_103638.jpg

Excellent forgot about that, yea I have the cheapest one without the filters etc. I thought you were just running the blue filter! I was impressed by the 119⁰f temperature though. I'm happy with mine so far. Zero issues
I’ve got the Gx cs4i which I bought first. It’s a great compressor but the Tuxings for less money are a true bargain.
Had I known about the twins would haves saved the $580.
I do however blow a lot of $$$ on my latest hobbies though.
I think I’m gonna blow some more when I’m sober tomorrow Haa ha!

I was running with the 5 gallon bucket of water and was surprised by how quickly the water temperature rose. That’s what pushed me to a self contained cooling system. Was going to buy the stock tank but was only 5 liters. The self contained 032 has this tank and small computer fans, I think double the coolant and a bigger fan and radiators will cool better .
I just ordered another radiator to put in line .
Don’t get me wrong, I’m just f. Ing around. I’ll run the compressors nonstop till 4500 psi plus. If I have to fix something I’ll be entertained doing it.
Im gonna look at your gauges….

Yea I hear you, I have three compressors as well. As I got into filling tanks i bought a yong heng because my small air cooled would not cut it, then the yong got weak after 6 months. Bought the twin tuxing and I put a new piston in the yong as a back up. I run a bunch of ice in the bucket when I'm filling tanks from zero. It definitely helps you start with much colder water. My computer fans probably only drop it a few degrees at best? I have no idea. I also keep a few fans blowing on the cylinder heads. Anything to make it run a little cooler is going to prolong the life. My power switch is the only thing that broke on the tuxing, luckily it's stuck in the on position and I run an inline external rocker switch.
