What springer did you shoot today?

yup , i just do not like laminates , maybe if they were not dyed but then it would look like plywood .
Wow, I really like laminates!
The Blue Lam, and the Yellow Jacket.

It's coming. When It's 95 out and I have to mow that's when it's a killer..lol.
I absolutely refuse to mow when it's that hot. I'll get up at the crack of dawn and be out mowing when it's about 7:30, dew still on the grass. The only thing to do when it gets that hot is to enjoy the AC,and it gets plenty hot here in E Texas. We are forcast to hit 90 today.

FWB 150 that I got in earlier this week. I was chasing the bullseye, and then noticed that the sight retaining screw was backed way out. Just did not look right. I would get a couple of good groups then it would move. I took the gun inside and really looked it over, I finally backed the screw out all the way oiled the outside and installed it and it went in all the way, probably 1/2" more than when I got it. THe sight is now mounted solid and I will give it another try tomorrow.

Finally back shooting, bloody wind. 42 and sunny, great start. This threads start, a HW77 .177.
IMG_1396.jpeg
10 head shots the last nicked the edge, 47 yds.
IMG_1399.jpeg
Another 77 .25. The best plinker. IMO.

I slammed the rams head 15 times, I was getting a headache. He was shaking like a willow tree. As far as targets go these are now my favorite. Going to make more. They take a beating. I think the door springs will be even better.

Looking at it with a front plate as well a rear plate to catch the rounds would be nice. Crow

I made another deal. Back in 94 I drove down to Chicago for the Blues and a good time. While there I bought 10 seats from the old Chicago arena and bricks. Black Hawks and Bulls. Doesn’t get much better. Always been a Hawks fan. My son is redecorating again and wants 3 chairs. I came this close 🤏 to getting a LGU. Not meant to be for now. So I changed to a HW85.
I have it in both cal. now, so I shot this afternoon to decide which cal. to get.

Love them both but going with .177 and a 12 fpe spring. Reason for the 85, its barrel is long and easy to jack. As I age, I’ll appreciate it more. Also a great recipient for Doppler Sights.
On top of that I’m getting a R7 .177 as well in the trade.
I was in business for 35 yrs. I saved so much memorabilia from day one. I knew it would be worth more than what I paid for it. Has no sentimental value. So far I traded seven Weihrauch’s for the collectables. And counting. Crow

that’s pretty cool. I saw quite a few Bulls and Hawks games at the old Chicago stadium. Once sat behind Jim Belushi and John Candy at a Hawks game there. Good times

That came out nice.
If you could set a camera and video the action that would be cool.

Today it’s .20 cal. Started off with a HW95. Did a nice group at 47 yds. except last shot, why does this happen?
IMG_1403.jpeg
Next up a HW80. Bought used. Couldn’t imagine selling this gun.

Dirty 34F with a wind but my blind was able to stop the wind. Driveway is as dry as a popcorn fart.
Last gun for morning a R9. Priceless gun. While shooting these I had my guy hold a R7 .177 for me on the horn.

I tried cutting a can in half at 45 yds. More time needed. Really hard to do. Crow

No shooting today, everything is wet thank God. This has been the driest March I can remember but we finally got just over 1"last night, the most all month. I remember a saying about wind in March, "in like a lion, out like a lamb" but this month it was in like the lion who stayed, high wind all month, not conducive to air gun shooting.

10 seats WOW ( if you install them at the other end of your porch you could have your own cheering section . You would need to supply beer , imported hot dogs from Chicago and in the shell salted peanuts .

Had some time to shoot but the wind was so nasty that it probably wouldn't be satisfying. I'll shoot some with my pistols in the garage 15' range later. At least a couple of those pistols will be springers ;-)

My blind stops the mild wind. Otherwise I couldn’t shoot.
Afternoon shoot with .20 cal. with a HW98.
IMG_1413.jpeg
A must have gun. Gets better every time you shoot it.
‘Last for day a HW90. The anchor.
IMG_1414.jpeg
I kept coming back to this can at 45 yds. Beat me today.
