Nothing in .177 is considered a firearm in Illinois, nor is anything over .177 as long as it does not exceed 700 fps. Example, a .50 cal airgun that does not exceed 700 fps is not considered an airgun here. But a .22 that clocks 750 fps is. Idiotic laws, I know.

Everything's illegal in Illinois our cops and rangers say shoot shovel and shut up make sure you order your gun from someone who will ship it to you there are plenty of suppliers who will. Pyramid will not be one

I tried bidding on an R7 on eBay the other week and was informed it is not legal to ship airguns to Illinois. What a crock of sh*t this is.

Reply #5 is right. I'm in the Chicago suburbs and Pyramid will ship me anything as long as it follows those parameters.
