Tuning Avenge-x without barrel band

I don’t have one yet, looking to get but has anyone tried to shoot an avenge-x without the barrel band. From the rimfire world harmonics can affect bullet flight. Rifles like the zelos and some Benchrest rifles don’t have a band so is it support the barrel or something else? If if it’s to add rigidity I can see maybe for hunting but not nessecary for Benchrest. Just curious.

There is absolutely no difference in accuracy in any Avenge- X rifle with or without the barrel band. A famous South Africa youtuber who review airguns already did that test. Here is the link of the video.

Currently I own 3 Avenge - X and another first gen Avenger, two .22 and two .25 cal, this next friday I am suppose to receive a Air Venturi Avenge x 400cc carbon fiber air bottle conversion kit for my Synthetic stock classic .25 cal tube airgun and also a few tins of AEA pellets in different cal and weight to compare them vs the JSB, JTS, Air Arms and FX pellets that I am currently using with my airguns. Do a search over my user name here in this forum, I have shared some tunning tips and moderators comparison test and the benefits that offer the aftermarket high capacity mags that I am currently using in our Avenge -X .22 rifles…👍😉 For hunting I recommend the Avenge-X tactical carbine with the bottle or the bullpup to increase their autonomy and shot count in .22 or .25 cal. The carbine is very lightweight and short perfect for hunting. If you choose the bigger and deadly .25 cal, this particular airgun loves the AEA center punch 25 grains pellets.

There is a YouTube video showing a airgunner reviewer shooting this pellets 5 times in exactly the same hole at 50 yards….😱😳. I am going to share the video here but I want to remind you that is in spanish language not English I am bilingual. Fast foward the video starting from the minute 10:30 to see how this airgun perform with the AEA and the JSB 25.39 grains pellets, he said in the video for the only reason he couldn’t shoot the 8 pellets of his oem mag in the same hole with the AEA pellets whas because that day the wind was very strong. The tune he was using durring the review was the reg set @ 175 bar and was shooting the pellets @ a average speed of 877 fps in the chronograph.
