The .35 Yokozuna moderator for my .30 cal Red Panda is too loud. Need recommendations for a much quieter moderator. I prefer to stick with Donny FL if possible.
I ended up ordering another Donny FL Ronin moderator as I liked the noise decibel that was on my Texan .257. This Ronin also had the M18x1 threads which works on the RP. I will let the membership know how much, if any, quieter it is compared to the Yokuzuma
I can't attest to the Ronin on the red panda, but it does a good job on the Texan .457 I have. It also has an extension available that I think is 6" long by the same diameter as the Ronin to help with the noise. The downside is 12" of extra length
I dunno, for my higher power .30 I found the STO Sarrissa and the Huma Air MOD50 to be the most effective. I've only used the Sumo from DonnyFL so not apples to oranges with your setup.
I have the older STO MUS on my .30 crown and it is one of my favorites for weight ( or lack there of it, haha ) and size . It does an excellent job ( very effective ) . It is crazy light weight .
went through a few Donny FL only ones that worked were koi and Ronan had both the Yoko and Ryu big disappointment loud and clipped. won't buy another Donny, huma mod40, Impulse Air or STO, one i have seen and yet to be able to buy is from fromann which recently may have one coming,
